Maximise Your Membership
We know that when you purchase a membership, you want to get the most out of it!
You will initially be welcomed into the facebook group and will have the opportunity to introduce yourself either in the comments or on the wall, this is a great way for members to hear more about you and connect.
For our Base Level members, a big part of our Base & Premium memberships relates to your directory listing (with premium members ‘featured’ in the feed and showing up first). But there are some other things you can access to gain even more from your small membership fee. Below is the first 3 steps after you have introduced yourself to the group and then a range of optional ways you can maximise your membership.
LIST YOUR BUSINESS in the Online Directory. This is a no-brainer given the above! But we know you are busy. So even if you only pop an email and phone number! Get up on there. This alone is worth your membership fee, with members being found through their listing and us sharing listings when we receive requests for products/services. THREE THINGS ABOUT YOU. In the Facebook group is a post in the announcement section to do the 3 things about you. We share these 3 times a week on the SA Woman PAGE. When you see yours go live, be sure to share it! We have seen these reach well over 1000 people!
INTERACT. Reach out for help for you and help other members. Members often call out for advice or recommendations. Help out a fellow SAWer and she will never forget you! Or drop your link as a possible option when there is a callout for recommendations. Share your own question or call for help – nothing is too silly in there. Relationship building can create some greate referrals to your biz – not just from members, but think about all the other people they know too!
EVENTS. Now we know that not everyone can get to events. But I highly recommend if you get the chance to go along to one of our Connector events OR a member event when they come up. These are at a number of different times and locations. While you may have one close to you, I also recommend going to others all around so you can meet different women. Connector Events are only $10 for members, and include your coffee.
SUBMIT A BLOG We can promote you through our online blog. You write the article and we will upload it and include links to your biz (Just ensure it is at least 30% different to an article you have elsewhere). You can email these to firstname.lastname@example.org. PREMIUM MEMBER? You can also submit your member profile from directly in the Member Portal!
MEMBER EDUCATION SESSION. Every Wednesday we give a member an opportunity to share their knowledge. If this is in your realm, then there is a post in announcements to nominate a time.
BUSINESS VISITS If I am in your area, I may do a call out in the facebook group or reach out to you to pop in for a visit. I take pics and share on the SAW PAGE. If you would like me to do a special trip to you and showcase your biz (photos, blog post, fb live chat, instagram stories…), this is available at an additional cost (see announcement for more).
CONTRIBUTE TO A GROUP BLOG. In the Facebook group, we may do a callout for comments/suggestions that we can then use in a group blog that showcases more than one member. Keep an eye out for those!
SPONSORSHIP/PARTNERSHIPS. We have opportunities to sponsor events, become a business partner, provide SAW a service, Be listed on the website and more. While these are an additional cost, they are incredibly affordable and a great way to gain further exposure to your business.
MEMBER PROFILE. Premium members and above have the option to create a member profile. This will be showing in the drop down My Membership menu above.
