Tessa Marie Art

Hi I’m Tessa, from Tessa Marie Art. I am an Artist, Designer, Stylist and Workshop facilitator based in the Adelaide Hills. Currently I specialise in vibrant Abstract Landscape Artworks, inspired by my natural surroundings and dreamlike landscapes.

I have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember, but very recently (as of March this year) have taken the plunge to pursue my own creative business after many years in the Corporate Events world.

I set up Fern Studio (my home studio) in Blackwood to hold my own intuitive Art classes and help others find their creative expression. My workshops are soo much fun! A space where you can let loose, have a bit of a dance if you feel called to and create something you are confident and proud of in the moment.

They focus on quietening the ‘inner critic’, conquering that fear of a blank page and most importantly how to have fun and play while creating.

A little bit about my background…

My heart has always been in the creative world and I completed a Bachelor of Design at UniSA (mainly because I didn’t think art was an option at that time) and shortly after moved to Melbourne to complete a Diploma in Visual Merchandising & Styling at RMIT.

I worked for a few companies in my time in Melbourne. Visual Merchandising for Myer and Mozi to name a few and then scoring a job in the corporate events world as a 3D Designer and Project Manager. I designed and managed trade show stands that toured across Australia for large scale companies such as Bosch power tools and GSK pharmaceuticals. Moving back to Adelaide in 2018 I dabbled in Property Styling for a wee bit and then went back into the Corporate Events World working for Adelaide Expo Hire.
