Kelly helps women who have overcome trauma, adversity, or mental illness, to create the life of their dreams. Her clients are able to discover their “truth”, learn how to communicate it, and take action to work towards it, with integrity, compassion, confidence, and conviction.
Even after therapy, trauma and mental illness can leave a legacy of low self-esteem, lack of confidence, and fear, which if left unchecked can lead to self-sabotage and frustration. Patterns of thought/feeling/behaviour developed throughout child hood or after a trauma, may still play out in our adult lives. These patterns, which were helpful at the time, may not be helpful now and could in fact be holding you back from success and happiness.
Due to her own traumatic background and lived-experience with mental illness, Kelly has learned how to overcome the most challenging of obstacles in order to live the life of her dreams. To understand herself better and to break free of the unhelpful patterns that trauma had left behind, Kelly completed extensive study in to the human mind, mental wellness, and the impacts of trauma.
Kelly has both the academic skills as well as being the living proof that with the right mindset, you can overcome anything.
Kelly is also the Co-Founder of “The Human Bean Project” – a not-for-profit venture which aims to decrease the loneliness and isolation of mental illness, to decrease the stigma, and for the promotion of mental wellness.
She is also a co-author in an anthology called “Wise Women Rise” (due for publication early 2020), which is a compilation of amazing women who have overcome adversity, sharing their stories with the aim of inspiring hope in others.
Kelly also engages in Public Speaking and workshops.
