I first started making candles (Kiki Kandle Sweet Dreams) back in 2016 purely for myself as it was an escape for my mental health. I soon fell in love with creating beautiful candles and I decided to take the leap and turn it into a business. I haven’t looked back since.

In late 2017 I then opened my own home studio, where I also create some beautiful hair. I have been hairdressing for 15 years now and I couldn’t be happier.

To be honest the thing I love most about my business would be my clients, they inspire me to grow. With out them I wouldn’t have my businesses and I’m truly grateful for the friendships I’ve made.

Prior to my businesses I was working as a gaming manager in a pub & working part time in hairdressing. I was ready to give up hairdressing completely because my skin suffered from dermatitis & psoriasis, hairdressing was making it worse. Then I moved from the Riverland to the Adelaide hills and my skin got better, I now haven’t had dermatitis in years! I re found the love I had for hairdressing and decided I wanted to leap back into it full time.

By having my business it has taught me to grow, within myself, be more independent.

My biggest inspiration again would be my clients, they’ve been my reason for growth. I also have to add myself because I want to grow, I want to be the best version of me I can be for my business.

My favourite place would have to be the Riverland, it’s home. I love spending time here because my family are there and I am extremely family oriented.I love the river, knee boarding and kayaking. Sunshine is the best!

“If not now, when?”
This quote has always stuck with me, you can always say ‘I’ll do it later’, but I say take the leap, have faith in yourself to do greatness, and greatness will follow.
