// Tell us a little about your business…

A Small Art Factory” is an artisan partnership with my husband, Warren. For 10 years we have been making metal sculpture art that warms the heart of your garden and walls of your home.

In 2017 we opened the “Fleurieu Arthouse” where we connect art lovers with artists via an exhibition gallery, studios and a retail shop in the beautiful grounds of Hardys Tintara in McLaren Vale.

// What do you love most about being in business?

I love being in business because i get paid to be creative, meet and connect with amazing beautiful people. Hospitality was my playground for 20 years before being brave enough to Carpe Diem, start believing in myself and go full time with the skills and knowledge gained from art college and beyond.

// Let’s talk South Australia, what do you love most about doing business here?

Spoilt with beautiful beaches, surrounded by lush wineries and on the doorstep of some of SA’s best restaurants and artisan food producers, I get to live, work and play in the beautiful food bowl that is the Fleurieu Peninsula and I love it!

// What is the best advice you have received that has stuck with you?

I always remember the advice from Dana Kinter – a brilliant & beloved SA artist business woman carving out the path for us all to learn from – “Stay in your lane”. I have to remember to not overthink things and just be really focused and aim for exceptional at what I do.
