My business is Adelaide Nutrition and Wellbeing. Studying nutrition fueled a passion for natural health and helping others achieve wellness. Understanding that what you put on your body is as important as what you put in. Good health starts with good nutrition and minimising exposure to toxins.
My vision is to help as many clients as possible to optimize their health through clean eating and living a low tox life.
// What are you most proud of?
Achieving a Bachelor of Health Science-Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine in 2018 was a dream come true.
Using this knowledge to help clients recover their health is the basis of what Adelaide Nutrition and Wellbeing is all about.
Starting a new practice from scratch has been a challenge, but well worth it.
// Tell us more about your services?
I am located at Morphett Vale, but can provide online appointments if required
Good health is truly possible because YOU REALLY ARE WHAT YOU EAT!
I specialise in chronic health management, digestive problems and nutrigenomics- how what we eat affects our genes.
// What were you doing before you started this business?
Before I studied Nutrition I spent 30 years running a small Domestic Cleaning business, so I was always going to work for myself.
// What do you love most about running your own business?
Three thing I love about being in business:
- Working for myself gives me the flexibility to work when I want and to spend time with my partner, my children and grandchildren.
- Helping clients recover their health is very rewarding.
- Small businesses in Adelaide love networking and helping each other out.
// Do you have a fave place to spend summer/go to for coffee/ go to to relax/ go to for food?
My favourite place to be when I’m not working is at the beach and I love that there are so many awesome cafes to meet and catch up with other SA Woman members.
// What advice would you give other women wanting to start a business?
My advice to those thinking of working for themselves: It’s hard work, especially when you are the business, but have faith in yourself and belief that you will acheive your dreams!
