// Tell us a little about your business…

Warida Wholistic Wellness is a sanctuary for all things wellbeing. As a proud Badimaya (Aboriginal) woman with an ethos of supporting community change one person at a time, I welcome a diversity of clients and their experience of wellbeing.

We work with people living in fear. Those facing darkness. Those who feel they are broken.

Our focus is on empowering people to explore, embrace and reconnect with their unique inner fire. With this ethos underpinning everything we do; Warida Wholistic Wellness utilises trauma-informed counselling, transformational / confidence building coaching, equine assisted psychotherapy and horse archery as tools for empowerment.

We work outreach across Australia and online around the world; servicing individuals one on one or groups via retreats or in the workplace. This means that no matter where you are, we are able to help in some way.

We started over 4 years ago, rebranding and changing our name in October 2018. We are located in Lower Hermitage, but work outreach around Australia and online around the world.

// What do you love most about being in business?

I absolutely love the flexibility of working for myself, constantly pushing myself outside of my comfort zone and that I can help people move through distress into empowered living on a daily basis!

// Share with us how life has changed since being in business?

I know that I work much harder and have to be more skilled than I ever had to be when working in my previous employment.

I now get paid to travel around the world too!

The funniest thing is when people come up to me and tell me that they have been following my page(s), that I have inspired them to do something different and step into their power.

// What has been your biggest hurdle?

My biggest hurdle is most certainly maintaining the tricky balance between income and expenditure in a small business! There is SOOOOO much I want to do!

//Do you have a favourite SA business that you are passionate about supporting…

I absolutely LOVE Mandanga Enterprises! They sell balms, oils and teas made from traditional Indigenous bush medicine – a must have in your medicine chest.

// What is the best advice you have received that has stuck with you?

You aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s ok.

// Share with us a quote or mantra you live by…

This quote has been attribute to Mandela, but oh my gosh it describes what I live by: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure … you serve no-one by playing small”.
