Can I upgrade my membership?
Yes! You can upgrade from Base to Premium at anytime. The amount charged is pro-rata based on the length of time left on your membership.
However, Gold and Platinum Packages existing member upgrades must be done via emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Due to the work involved these packages cannot be pro-rata’d.
How long is my membership? How does it renew?
Your membership is for a minimum of 12 months, it then continues ongoing at the existing membership rate until you cancel (you will not be subject to any future membership price rises). Payment comes out on your anniversary date each month. Eg. If you sign up on the 15th of the month, it will be paid on the 15th of each month thereafter.
It is important you keep note of when your payment is due and when you initially signed up.
What happens if my payment fails?
It is important to understand that your membership is for a minimum of 12 months, this is not a month to month membership during that initial period. If however your payment does fail (eg. change of card, insufficient funds etc), you will receive an email letting you know your membership payment has failed. If not rectified and paid within 7 days, your membership will be cancelled and you will be removed from the group and all membership benefits revoked. You will then need to resign up as a member.
How do I get showcased?
For our Premium/Gold/Platinum membership we have set opportunities where we showcase your business. Please have a look at the membership details above (note gold and platinum are not currently available as a monthly option).
For the base level membership, this is through the directory. There are added opportunities in the members facebook group (3 questions with a member, blog opportunities and more) and also through sponsorship options that are released during the year. Keep your eye on your Member News emails and the facebook group for these opportunities.
Is there a member’s code of conduct?
There definitely is! We are very passionate about the ethical conduct of women in business in our state. Click HERE to read the Members Code of Conduct.
SA Woman has the right to cancel a membership if a member has been deemed to go against our code of conduct or act in an ethical manner.
I am an integral part of another business (eg. marketing manager/coordinator, partners’ business etc), but not the owner. Can I still be part of SA Woman?
YES!! We welcome all women in South Australian businesses whether you are running your own business, or an integral part of a business owned by someone else in South Australia. Their business needs you!
I am part of a team, is there a team/company membership?
Yes we do have a team option. Please contact us via email for details and provide number of staff and we can organise a membership quote for you.
Do I need to have a specific kind of business?
No! We would love to see ALL women in business in SA listed here! All are welcome, even if you are in the same industry as SA Woman.
I’ve changed my mind. Can I have my fees back?
Membership fees are not-refundable. Please keep this in mind when purchasing.
How will I be communicated with as a member?
Most of our member-specific communication will be via our Member Only facebook group, please ensure you pop in there regularly for updates.
What are the additional event discounts & offers?
We keep the membership low but only including the essentials and allowing you to build a membership that suits you and your changing business throughout the year. Therefore all events, advertising and programs are an additional investment, but are offered at member prices, so you receive a special discount.
Throughout the year we have a range of events that are open to members. This includes local events run by connectors, networking evenings, Awards night and exclusive member dinner/lunches.
We will also be launching other initiatives throughout the year which will be exclusive to members, such as workshops.

Sure is! You will receive this by email when you join.
The SA Woman Member Logo can be added to your website/collateral to show you are part of a community that is supporting SA Women in business to grow and that you conduct business with the highest of ethics.
