Tell us a bit about you:
Liz completed her Registered Nurse training in the United Kingdom (UK) and has extensive nursing experience in the UK both in community and aged care.
Liz has completed her Degree of Master of Health Administration in Flinders University SA in 2019, and a Graduate Certificate in Nursing Science (GCertNSc) Infection control 2021.
Since emigrating to Australia Liz has worked both in rural and remote community settings and has held various management roles within the aged care industry.

Liz Has been operating Cormac Care Consultancy since 2019.
The service supports aged care and community providers meet compliance with the Aged Care Standards.
Liz has a comprehensive understanding of audit methodology, techniques and evaluation of evidence and has the ability to apply risk management and adult learning principles in accordance with the Standards.
My primary areas of specialty are: Dementia, Clinical governance, and Advocacy.
Other areas of speciality include:
• Management advice & support for aged and community care services
• Analysis of current management systems to mitigate risk
• Review of existing auditing tools/practices
• Lead continuous improvement activities/best practice/Innovation within the sector
• Educational delivery
• Supporting providers implement and understand and lead innovation in line with the Standards
• Identify opportunities for improvements and address areas of risk in line with legislation
• Delivery of Clinical governance practices
