Kate Holland – KTB Communications

Kate Holland – KTB Communications

My name is Kate Holland, and I run KTB Communications…

I’m a freelance writer, mixed-media content producer and strategic storyteller. My specialty is finding and articulating the human hook. (20+ years as an ABC radio producer helped hone that skill.)

I help shape communication that moves people to act — whether that’s to laugh, learn more, donate, engage, partner, sign up, book an interview, use a service, share or advocate. Different contexts, same principle: make it engaging enough to matter.

As an insatiably curious being, I enjoy working across a variety of industries and with all sorts of people. However, purpose-led organisations and creatives are my favourites, and we tend to find each other.

My extensive media experience and contact list are a huge bonus for those who want help to raise their profile.

One of my reasons for leaving the ABC was to write more, but I’m as addicted to audio as ever. It’s a powerful medium. I produce and host a podcast for one company and have plans for more – inside and outside the service genre.

When I’m not working for others, I’m pitching feature stories of my own and trying to advance some side projects. These include an audio series for kids, a doco on creativity and a feature film.

With around 90% of my work coming from returning customers, I can confidently claim the badge of a relationship-based business.

Harriet Walker – The Chiro Crew

Harriet Walker – The Chiro Crew

Hi, I’m Harriet!

The philosophy of Chiropractic truly resonates with me: the body inherently knows how to heal itself when there is no interference to the nervous system. My passion is sharing this approach through adjustments and education, helping people live their best lives.

I am the proud owner of The Chiro Crew, a place that holds special significance for me. I have been coming here since I was a little girl, and it feels incredibly meaningful to be part of the practice that has been a cornerstone of my own health journey. My journey with Chiropractic began in childhood when my mother brought my brother and me to her Chiropractor to ensure we grew up strong and adaptable. This early experience inspired me to become a Chiropractor myself.

Outside of the practice, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing music, dancing, and creating in the kitchen!

I look forward to helping you, your friends, and your family achieve optimal health and well-being!

Jenny Davies – A J’s Simply Latex

Jenny Davies – A J’s Simply Latex

When you first meet me I can be a little quiet and reserved, until I get to know people then I relax. I am fun loving, happy and easy going person who love a challenge and is always willing to help.

15 years ago I packed up my home and life into six boxes and made the big move, on my own, to SA to start a new relationship and have been happily married for 14 years. I have two grown up children, from my previous marriage, now 36 and 39 who chose to remain in the UK, both have happy in life and have successful careers.
Before leaving the UK I worked for a leisure/hospitality company as Business manager firstly at a gallery and craft centre and then a leisure centre. I love technology, am an Apple fanatic, and had always dreamt of working for them. That dream came true in 2013 when I was lucky enough to join an amazing team for the opening of the new Apple Store in Adelaide.

When I retired, in 2018, I imagined spending my time gardening, collecting cacti, playing video games, being Treasurer for the Cactus and Succulent Society, maybe taking up a craft and enjoying the beautiful environment I live in, just having a relaxing time. But that’s not me as I soon discovered that this wasn’t enough, I needed more, I got restless and bored, so I put together a plan to start up an online business.

Since starting my career at a small firm in 2001, I have practised in a number of areas, including wills and estates, family law, commercial law, and tax law.

And when things go wrong, she likes to assist with estate disputes – including making or defending claims against the will or challenging the will itself.

With a particular focus on making the estate administration process as straightforward as possible,I am here to help with grants of probate, and letters of administration.

I joined Johnston Withers in 2022 after heading up one of SA’s largest wills and estates teams for over 10 years. I am a northern suburbs local and have always worked in the Salisbury area and continue to work at Johnston Withers’ Adelaide and Salisbury offices.

I am a longstanding member of the Law Society of South Australia’s Succession and Elder Law Committee as well as the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners’ SA Branch.
