Libby Trainor Parker –
Libby Trainor Parker is a comedian, author, cabaret tragic, teacher, radio presenter, journalist and cat parent. She has many strings to her bow and no idea how to play violin. Libby has won awards for her work in arts, education and health advocacy, particularly in endometriosis and women’s (AFAB) health. Her five-star, sell-out shows aim to empower, entertain and tickle funny bones.
Libby runs Endo Support SA, was a Director on the Board of Pelvic Pain Foundation Australia, is an affiliate member of Australian Coalition for Endometriosis (ACE), co-wrote the national schools program PPEP Talk (Periods, Pain & Endometriosis Program) and has co-authored and worked on committees for various endo research projects. She won the Women in Innovation Award for Arts in 2023, the SA Woman Allrounder Award in 2021 and Fringe Weekly Best Cabaret Award in 2021.
Following a late endometriosis diagnosis at 36 years old, Libby has dedicated her life to advocating for people with chronic illness, pain and disability through her award-winning show Endo Days and her rave-reviewed book of the same name published by Wakefield Press in 2023. She believes every person has a right to appropriate, quality health care and support.
Now with a fresh diagnosis of neurodivergence in her 40s, Libby is on another mission to empower people to learn about their bodies and brains so they can take charge of their physical and mental health.
Kylie Pengelly Linke – Kylie PL Business Coach
I’ve been called a dreamer all of my life, it’s my favourite compliment! I love doing the things “people just don’t do”.
I also love coffee, cheese, cocktails, wine, my husband and our gorgeous miniature dachshund, not necessarily in that order!
A rebel with a cause, I believe business equals freedom and I’ve been obsessed with making business work for me ever since I took the plunge in 2009.
After running my first coaching & writing business for 3 years, I wanted to test the digital nomad lifestyle, so I packed two suitcases, put the rest of my belongings in storage, rented out my house and travelled the world for 2 and a half years.
Upon returning I realised I had the ability to work out the steps to make big audacious dreams become a reality. To test my theory, I finally decided to tackle the big secret dream I’d had for nearly 20 years…to open an authentic Aussie pub in Stockholm, Sweden! As you do, and I did, in 2018.
Moving back to Australia in 2023, I have jumped back into business coaching.
Kate Holland – Department for Correctional Services
As Principal Advisor for Women, my work at the Department is to inform strategy and policy for women who come into contact with the criminal justice system and are either in custody or have a community corrections order in South Australia. I work with the women in custody and community, with service providers and other stakeholders, as well as the staff of the Department, to ensure that the work that we do is gender supportive and supports women to move away from the system towards engaged and productive lives in community.
