Stories for Impact is a copywriting, proofreading and storytelling business located on the western end of Kangaroo Island which I started in March 2020.
Shortly after the Black Summer Fires, I decided to take my life into my own hands as I had nothing left to lose.
After years of consideration and procrastination, I took the leap of faith and started my home-based writing business, offering services globally. Born in Germany, inspired by my journalist grandfather, I always wanted to get into the writing industry but strayed into Public Relations and marketing first before travelling the world, falling in love and settling in Australia in 2008.
Living on a sheep farm, with my Aussie husband and two young children, nature and space around me inspires me daily to tell the tales of regional humans and people living on the land.
I love the great outdoors, many beautiful beaches and stunning environment in South Australia and highly recommend the gem, Kangaroo Island. I might be biased but it is the most gorgeous place on Earth, offering untouched beauty and uncomparable wildlife experiences, even after the fires.
My life coach once told me to never let anyone dim my light and I live by that every day now. I am real, authentic and genuine and I work hard to produce fantastic end results. I have a passion for words, stories and people and can’t wait to work with you.
