Natalie Michels – Alite Mind

Natalie Michels – Alite Mind

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been someone others turn to, a person they feel safe sharing their thoughts and emotions with. I’ve always held space for others, listened deeply, and supported them through their challenges. Counselling felt like a natural path for me, and I’m proud to be a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association. I combine evidence-based strategies with wisdom-based practices to help people create lives filled with meaning, purpose, and resilience.

Over the years, I’ve faced major surgeries, endured a domestic violence relationship at a young age, lived with chronic pain, and was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer a decade ago. These experiences gave me firsthand insight into suffering, feeling stuck, and being completely overwhelmed.

Beyond my work, I’m a mum to two wonderful young adults, a wife, and an animal and bird lover. Our home is often alive with the sounds of our two exotic parrots, and our labradoodles Poppy and Holly. I have a special admiration for pelicans and love to unwind by the beach, where I often meditate, birdwatch, and connect with nature.

Jodie Evans – Project 18 the wellbeing nook

Jodie Evans – Project 18 the wellbeing nook

I am the Founder and Director of Project 18, a wellbeing space that is focussed on delivering professional counselling, consultancy and advocacy services. I coordinate a shared, safe and welcoming space with a committment to embracing compassion and acceptance for all who visit.

I am an Integrative Practitioner, I provide 1:1 counselling to children and young people, aged between 8yo and 21yo. I have been in private practice for 5 years and before that worked in the Youth Sector for more than 20 years. I have a background in child protection and youth justice, have been an advocate and am very experienced in supporting vulnerable young people to find their voice and navigate systems. I believe all children, no matter their history, their circumstnaces or their experiences of adversity have strengths and qualities that with the right support and opportunities can empower them to be the best versions of themselves and to live a life of their making.

I am a consultant and facilitator – this is particularly focussed on supporting others (agencies, departments, sectors, services, systems) to create and facilitate safe, effective consultations processes and opportunities to obtain the voice, views and insights that young people have on the issues that impact their lives.

Belinda Rigney – Complete Admin & Bookkeeping

Belinda Rigney – Complete Admin & Bookkeeping

Complete Admin & Bookkeeping as the name suggests provides administrative/business support and bookkeeping/BAS agent services.

I established Complete Admin & Bookkeeping back in 2013 after being made redundant from a corporate role. When I started my business I had over 22 years of experience in a variety of industries such as construction and wine and I was looking for a flexible work environment as we were a FIFO family with 2 primary school aged children.

Since the business evolved, there have been many changes. Initially I started out on a small desk in the corner of our lounge room and now 11 years later I have a dedicated home office. My client base has also evolved and continues to evolve and I consider myself extremely lucky to work with amazing clients across such a broad range of industries including tradespeople, sole traders, civil construction, property developers, interior designers, practicing professionals and more.

If someone was to ask me what I love about being in business it would be that I get to work closely with amazing clients and provide solutions to their pain points. I love to save my clients time, money and unnecessary headaches! This means that they can get out of their books, BAS & admin and back to what they do best – running and growing their businesses!

If I was to give advice to someone who is starting out in business today or the near future, I would say believe in yourself!

Make no mistake, it is a hard road, but it is also rewarding on so many levels and if you believe in yourself and have the right network around you then you will succeed!

When I am not working in my home office, or visiting clients, you can quite often find me down at the beach (or anywhere there is water!). Being near the water is so soothing and I find it a great place to take a breath and to re-set.

Stephanie Vaughan – Infinite Styling

Stephanie Vaughan – Infinite Styling

Hi, I’m Steph. I am a mum of 3 young adults, devoted coffee lover, and passionate about empowering women to feel confident , authentic, and truly themselves in what they wear.

My journey as a personal stylist began while working in the fashion retail industry for many years. I could see how clothes affected how women saw themselves. In the right clothes, they felt comfortable and confident, and they stepped out wearing a smile that lit up the room. In the wrong clothes, they felt awkward, self-conscious, and low.

So in 2013, I decided to turn my passion for styling into my career. I completed formal training to gain knowledge and skills so I can help women like you put their best foot forward.

I’ve been helping women to find and fall in love with their personal style again ever since.

Kylie Pengelly Linke – Kylie PL Business Coach

Kylie Pengelly Linke – Kylie PL Business Coach

I’ve been called a dreamer all of my life, it’s my favourite compliment! I love doing the things “people just don’t do”.
I also love coffee, cheese, cocktails, wine, my husband and our gorgeous miniature dachshund, not necessarily in that order!
A rebel with a cause, I believe business equals freedom and I’ve been obsessed with making business work for me ever since I took the plunge in 2009.

After running my first coaching & writing business for 3 years, I wanted to test the digital nomad lifestyle, so I packed two suitcases, put the rest of my belongings in storage, rented out my house and travelled the world for 2 and a half years.

Upon returning I realised I had the ability to work out the steps to make big audacious dreams become a reality. To test my theory, I finally decided to tackle the big secret dream I’d had for nearly 20 years…to open an authentic Aussie pub in Stockholm, Sweden! As you do, and I did, in 2018.

Moving back to Australia in 2023, I have jumped back into business coaching.

I work with the women in custody and community, with service providers and other stakeholders, as well as the staff of the Department, to ensure that the work that we do is gender supportive and supports women to move away from the system towards engaged and productive lives in community.

Tracey Finocchio – Riverside Woodfired Pizza

Tracey Finocchio – Riverside Woodfired Pizza

After dedicating 29 years to public service as a government employee, Tracey made a significant life change by moving from the city to regional Murray Bridge. Embracing this new chapter, she resigned from the state government and launched a mobile woodfired pizza catering business.

Leveraging her strong background in administration and customer service, the business has flourished. Her commitment to excellence and passion for serving delicious woodfired pizzas have driven steady growth, resulting in a stream of enquiries, bookings, glowing Google reviews, and a growing reputation.

Since moving to Murray Bridge, Tracey has become deeply involved in her community. She organised a regional International Women’s Day event, is an active member of Business Murray Bridge, participated in a Regional Leadership Development Program (and joined its Steering Committee), and is collaborating with local women to start a Women’s Networking Group.

Starting Riverside Woodfired Pizza has not only helped Tracey regain her self-confidence but also empowered others, particularly women. She has witnessed firsthand the strength that arises when women come together to share their experiences, resources, and encouragement.

Tanya Williams – Williams + Co Conveyancing

Tanya Williams – Williams + Co Conveyancing

Hello! I’m so excited to be on the small business journey. I am Certified Practising Conveyancer based in the beautiful Mid North / Clare Valley. I specialize in residential and rural transactions, estate and matrimonial transfers.

After many years of being under the “Corporate Firm Umbrella” in conveyancing, 2024 is the year I have taken the leap to go out on my own. Doing so allows me to be more client focused and embrace the communities I live and work in which is so important in rural areas.

I have been in the real estate industry for over 20 years with the directional change to conveyancing taking place in 2015. Over those years, I have seen an enormous change in the conveyancing industry including the mandating of e-conveyancing.

To broaden my world, I absolutely love travelling both overseas and locally. We are exceptionally spoiled for choice in SA with a fabulous food and wine scene of which I am an avid supporter!

I read. I cook. I garden. I live on our farming property between Clare & Burra. I am a huge fan of my two towering sons who keep the reality of life front and centre for both my husband and I.

It’s an exciting time to be taking this on and to embrace the networks around me.
