Hey there, I’m Bonnie. The Bonnie in Bonnie and Clyde Creative. A boutique branding and design studio. I’m an ever-bubbly problem-solver who loves nothing more than making you look good. Think of me as your graphic design partner in crime, ready and willing to nail your business branding and help you connect strongly with your target market.

In 2017, I and my handsome husband, Wes, packed up and moved our world to Adelaide from South Efrica (or, as you would know it, South Africa). We were seeking new opportunities, experiences, and adventures, and boy have we found them!

Here in Adelaide, my focus is on working with businesses that are able to place their trust in my ability to run with their concepts (I’m a great runner… as long as we’re not talking actual sneakers and pavement!), are open to new ideas (I have plenty of them), and who happily challenge themselves to think about things differently (because I’m all about helping you stand out from the crowd).

// Why did you decide to go into business?

I wanted all my hard work to be going towards building something for myself and my future. And to be able to spend more time with my family.

// What are you most proud of?

That I have been able to start again and build a life and a business in a new country and the journey that has brought me to where I am today.

// What do you love most about working for yourself?

I love the freedom and flexibility that it allows me. I love the variety of projects that I get to work on. And that the office uniform is active wear!

// Do you have a fave place to spend summer/go to for coffee/ go to to relax/ go to for food?

I love to support local. You can often find me grabbing a coffee or working through emails with my new business partner (my 6-week old baby boy Luke) at ‘Stir it up’ in Glenelg East. I also love the friendly staff and coffee at ‘Feed’ on Jetty Road, Glenelg.

// What advice would you give other women wanting to start a business?

Don’t let the fear get in your way. The fear of success, the fear of failure and everything in between. Feel the fear and go for it anyway.

// Share with us a quote or mantra you live by…

If it’s both terrifying and amazing, then you should definitely pursue it.
